Jonny Lockhead

​Jonny Lochhead owns and runs the Kedar Brown Swiss herd based in Scotland.  He farms around 300 acres, with 100 Milkers and 150 followers.  After foot and mouth disease took the cross bred herd in 2001, Jonny and his parents restocked with pure Brown Swiss from Bavaria and Switzerland.  Making a few key purchases including 2 daughters of Snickerdoodle, the herd has developed and won many many shows, including the National Show the past 3 years with 3 different cows. The herd average is currently around 8000 litres on a grass based system grazing 7 months of the year.
