Clement Sevin
A successful experience of Brown Swiss pure cross strategy starting from Holstein

My name is Clément Sévin, I am 39 years old and the father of two children.

I am a dairy farmer, leading a Brown Swiss herd of 80 dairy cows for 15 years.

Passionate about the mechanics of life, I have a keen interest in geology, the plant world and animal genetics. I very quickly oriented my studies to become a dairy farmer. After a work experience on dairy farms in Ireland and in France, I am now working on the development of Brown Swiss; within our family dairy farm where the breed has been present for nearly 30 years, but also as Co-President of our local Brown Swiss association as well member of the board of the Western Brown Swiss Regional Federation. I also take part in the board of my local cooperative of farm equipment.
